Cooling & Temperature Control

Why mushroom rooms need precise cooling, how DX and chiller systems differ, and why a normal AC is not enough for commercial production.

Button mushrooms need stable, controlled temperatures across spawn run, casing, and cropping. Even small swings hurt yield and quality.

Normal split ACs are designed for human comfort, not for the continuous load, humidity, and fresh-air demands of a mushroom room. Commercial rooms use engineered cooling — either DX systems or chiller-based cooling — sized for the room volume, insulation, and crop stage.

Proper cooling works together with airflow, fresh air, and humidity control. Undersized or wrong cooling is one of the most common reasons commercial mushroom projects underperform.
