Daikin (HMT R32/R410A units) is our default for every room size from 18×30 to 18×70 ft and is the safest choice for first-time mushroom farmers. Carrier (Haier-CCR commercial refrigeration on R-404a refrigerant) is offered as an alternative on 18×40, 18×60 and 18×70 ft rooms. Carrier is not available for the 18×30 starter room. Both brands deliver mushroom-grade BTU at +18 °C; pick the one your local service network supports best.

Is Carrier refrigeration available for the 18×30 ft starter mushroom room?

No. The 18×30 ft starter room ships only with a Daikin 6 TR HMT condensing unit and a 14 kW indoor evaporator. Carrier becomes available from 18×40 ft onwards.

What refrigeration capacity is used in MushroomWale grow rooms?

18×30 ft uses a 6 TR HMT condensing unit with a 14 kW indoor evaporator. 18×40 ft uses 8 TR outdoor capacity with a 24 kW dual evaporator, 18×60 ft uses 10 TR with a 24 kW dual evaporator and 18×70 ft uses 12 TR with a 28 kW dual evaporator. All units are mushroom-grade HMT class on R32/R410A; exact model numbers are shared in your project BOQ.

How many bags and how much yield does each grow room size give?

An 18×30 ft room holds about 1,000 bags and yields roughly 2,000 kg per 60-day cycle, 18×40 ft about 1,600 bags and 3,200 kg, 18×60 ft about 2,500 bags and 5,000 kg, and 18×70 ft about 3,000 bags and 6,000 kg — all on 2 rows × 7-tier racking at the 2 kg per 10 kg bag yield standard.

What is included in a MushroomWale grow room price?

The quoted price covers the PPGL PUF panel envelope, insulated doors, 7-tier MS racking (GI on request), refrigeration and controls, ducting and in-scope electricals with installation, itemised in a BOQ. Land, civil work, boundary wall, GST at 18% and transport are excluded and shown as client scope.

What does a mushroom farming shed cost?

What buyers call a mushroom shed is, on a commercial farm, a PPGL PUF-panel grow room: 60mm panels on common walls at ₹1,535/m², 80mm on external walls at ₹1,750/m² and 80/110mm roof panels at ₹1,875/m², plus ₹120/m² installation (rate card v2.92, ex-GST). A brick or tin shed cannot hold 16-18°C at 85-90% humidity through an Indian summer; the panel room is the shed that can. The four standard rooms run 18×30 to 18×70 ft.
