Mushroom growing racks are 7-tier steel structures installed inside climate-controlled grow rooms to hold compost bags vertically. Built from mild-steel (MS) angle with wire-jali tiers, they use the room's full height — a single 18×40 ft room holds 1,600 bags of 10 kg each across 7 tiers.
Why Rack Quality Matters for Yield
Poor racks create uneven air distribution, bag sagging, and structural failures. Racks sized to the room, braced properly and laid out with the ducting keep air moving evenly around every bag and carry the full compost load through the crop.
