What is the Andhra Pradesh Mushroom Mission?
The AP Mushroom Mission is a state-led horticulture initiative that stacks 10–20% state assistance on top of the central MIDH/NHM 50% subsidy for commercial mushroom units in Andhra Pradesh. Eligible production units, compost units, spawn labs and cold storage projects can secure 50–60% effective subsidy (₹20–35 lakh range), with DBT release post joint inspection. Application is made online via the AP Horticulture portal with a bankable DPR; approvals typically take 60–120 days.
