What changes the number
The four things that move a mushroom project's cost most, in the order they move it.
Room count and size
Rooms are the largest line. A larger room costs more per room but less per kilogram, which is why the cost per kg/day falls as the table goes down.
Compost on site or bought in
A compost unit adds equipment and civil work but removes a supplier from your critical path. Our smallest reference project buys compost in.
Civil work and land
Flooring, drainage, approach, water and power connections. This is your scope, and it varies more by site than anything we supply.
Working capital
Compost, spawn, casing, labour and power for the first cycles before revenue starts. Banks look for this line and reject reports that omit it.
