    Mushroom Farming Subsidy in Maharashtra

Maharashtra routes mushroom support through MIDH and state horticulture schemes administered on MahaDBT, backed by PMEGP margin money and NHB capital subsidy for Pune, Nashik and Mumbai-belt commercial units.

How much mushroom subsidy can you get in Maharashtra?

Mushroom farming in Maharashtra is supported through MIDH and state horticulture schemes applied for on the MahaDBT portal, with assistance commonly notified at 40-50% of approved unit cost for mushroom production, spawn and compost units. PMEGP contributes 25-35% margin money, and NHB gives 40% back-ended capital subsidy (up to ₹50 lakh) on credit-linked commercial projects. Rates follow the current year's GR and budget allocation.
