    Mushroom Farming Subsidy in Bihar

Bihar runs one of India's most active mushroom promotion programmes — NHM Bihar assistance across all 38 districts, plus Agriculture Roadmap incentives, PMEGP margin money and NABARD-refinanced term loans.

How much mushroom subsidy can you get in Bihar?

Mushroom farming in Bihar is supported mainly through NHM Bihar (Horticulture Directorate), which assists mushroom production units and spawn/compost units at rates commonly notified around 50% of unit cost, subject to district targets and budget. The Bihar Agriculture Roadmap adds mission-mode support, PMEGP gives 25-35% margin money for new units, and NABARD-refinanced bank loans fund the balance. All figures are indicative and subject to the current year's notification and fund availability.
