Three typologies, priced from one rate card in MushroomWale's own engineering study (12 designs, 500-5,000 kg/day, capital plus ten years of electricity at ₹8/kWh): DX rooms (Daikin/Carrier packaged units, the 'mushroom AC plant') are lowest at 500 and 1,000 kg/day by 16-20%; at 2,000 kg/day DX and ammonia are 0.44% apart (not decisive); at 5,000 kg/day ammonia is lowest (₹41.96 Cr vs DX ₹44.77 Cr) subject to two unpriced handling items; chilled water (chiller) never wins the total but has the lowest kWh/kg at 500 kg/day (1.38) and the second-lowest elsewhere. Ammonia needs a PESO licence at 2,000 and 5,000 kg/day.
